For me 80% of the value is for sharpening end mills, a constant nagging expense for us. The other 20% is split between horizontal milling cutters, lathe tool bits and drills. I also use it a lot for cylindrical grinding but that's really another function will skip it for now. If you want to sharpen end mills, imo you have to sharpen the periphery.
