Welcome to the forum. There really isn't a cost effective way of recovering your silver off the plated items that I'm aware of. The main problem is that much plated ware is over copper and brass,a copper alloy, and anything that will dissolve silver will dissolve them,even cyanide stripping has the same problem because as soon as the copper is revealed it's attacked.
